We Are Growing!
CTYAA is pleased to announce the formation of a new
Baseball/Softball Complex slated for completion in 2012.
It will be named the CTYAA Angelo Falconi Recreational Park.
Conveniently located adjacent to Southpointe, it will serve
our youth and community for decades to come. Included
will be 4 new fields, concession stand, pavilion, playground
and abundant parking.
Also, Governor Ed Rendell announced the release of a
grant for $248,000 for grading the site of the new park.
we are currently working
working on obtaining a right of way from the federal
government to proceed on the Angelo Falconi Recreational
Park off of South Pointe Blvd. Due to the proximity of I79
on ramps- the access falls under federal jurisdiction and we
need to have help in Washington DC to get this completed. -
We will keep you posted of our progress.
We Need Your Help!
Due to an overwhelming amount of children playing in the
Shetland and Pinto leagues, we are in need of coaches and
assistant coaches.
Please contact any one of the
officers to sign up to
help. Any help is greatly appreciated!
